Terminal Space blog is closed. Time has showed that I am unable to maintain two blogs at the same time, so I decided to move all creative content from here on my second blog, leaving only past news about the supplement.

Game can be downloaded via Box widget below or direct link. It can be also viewed on Scribd. Printed version without art (legal issues) can be purchased via Lulu webstore.

Any news about Terminal Space will now be posted on the Underworld Kingdom blog.

To be honest - it was ready for a long time... But I forgot about it :D

Version 1.4 is not very different from 1.2 (don't ask about version 1.3 - I don't remember what happened with that file...), except one important thing - LANGUAGE IS CORRECTED! Less crude and clunky - thanks to my friend Piotr. I must buy him a beer. Or two. Or more :D

Supporting OSR: reposting and using others' stuff

For several days I've been wondering what do you think about the exchange of information, links, and texts between the retrogaming / OSR bloggers and blogs. What's more - I'm curious what you think about using someone else's (your) texts, random tables, monsters etc. in other people's games and campaign settings. Would you have something against using your intellectual property in the works of other people - especially if it will be not available for free?

This is how it works with my stuff:

You want to use something that I created (random table, list or anything else) in your game or a free product - go ahead, but you must credit me.
You want to use something that I created in your non-free product? Contact me by email - I'll probably agree (especially if I would get a copy of your PDF for free )
You want to repost my text on your blog? No problem - if you add the info about its author (me) and a link to my blog(s).

I suspect that everybody knows this game very well, but I feel obliged to advertise it here (because of THIS! :D). I think that SWN is a great game - but it has one big disadvantage - skill system (IMO it's unnecessary)

Terminal Space 1.2 is out now!

Finally I've uploaded 1.2 version of Terminal Space supplement (with new cover!), which is designed to be printed in A5 / digest format. Also it includes 12 sample ships, corrected saving throws for new classes, nine new mosters (including 3 ship-sized), three new random tables, 15 additional spells and Mi-go character class.

Bunch of fresh ideas

I'm thinking about creating version 1.2, which will be slightly bigger than 1.0 & 1.1. Here are some ideas:

Mi-Go Character Class (not too weird? :D);
Some additional spells (i.e. Control Robot, Jam Signal, EMP Bolt...);
About ten (maybe twenty) examples of ships, including very exotic ones (Crystal Spire, Worldship, Fungal Battlecruiser and so on);
Some "spaceship - sized" monsters;
More ancient and alien artifacts.
